Vineyards and limos and friends... oh my!

My dear friend Margaret is getting married on Saturday and we celebrated her bachelorette in semi unique fashion: Monday at 2pm. It was a BLAST! I'm on vacation so it's all well and good for me but just about everyone else took off work to celebrate the amazing Margaret.

Margaret and me

We had a limo (courtesy of Jess D) and went on a vineyard tour and wine tasting for a few hours. Margaret's getting married at a vineyard and Jessica contacted them asking for any corks she could have. They gave her a few and she had a friend of her's wood burn Hawaiian tiki totem faces on them and made them into key chains to commemorate our day. They are SO cute and such a great idea! We all had loads of laughs during the ride and quite a few at the vineyards too. If you're going tasting just outside of the Charlottesille area, definitely hit up Cardinal Point (tell Mariah we say hello!) and Barren Ridge. Not only do they have great wine, but also wonderful people there who made this day completely special.

After a perfect afternoon, we headed back to Harrisonburg to meet up with Grace, Whitney and Fran for a splendid dinner at Clementine. Both Margaret and I got the B.L.A.T (bacon, lettuce, avacado and tomato) which I will definitely get again. It's always so wonderful to celebrate a beautiful friend right before she gets married.
All of us at Cardinal Point

Spending time with these ladies always makes me miss Virginia, especially my friends! Definitely savoured every moment spent with them.
